The One-Day Seminar on Deep Foundation Support Systems is jointly organized by the Faculty of Technology, CEPT University, the Indian Geotechnical Society (IGS) Ahmedabad – Vadodara Chapter, and the Deep Foundations Institute of India (DFII).
Deep foundation support systems play a vital role in the safe and sustainable development of modern infrastructure, particularly in dense urban environments where deep excavations are becoming increasingly common. The seminar will bring together leading academicians, researchers, consultants, and industry experts to discuss recent advancements, innovative technologies, and best practices in the planning, design, construction, monitoring, and performance of deep foundation support systems.
The technical sessions will provide participants with valuable insights into the interaction between geotechnical and structural engineering, innovative construction methodologies, excavation support systems, risk management, and the implementation of complex foundation systems. The seminar aims to strengthen the integration of contemporary industry practices into engineering education while supporting knowledge exchange across academia and industry.
