About Speaker:

Vidhaat Raman is an Indian sound designer, production sound recordist, and filmmaker whose work centers on the emotional impact of sound in film. Trained at FTII, Pune, he specializes in location sound and field recording, using attentive listening to create immersive sonic environments. He was on the Oscar-winning sound team for The Elephant Whisperers, capturing the film’s natural soundscape and the interactions of humans and elephants. Vidhaat’s credits span feature films, documentaries, web series, and advertising — including The White Tiger, Mirzapur, Flames, and Fukrey 3 — where he combines technical skill with creative experimentation to transform real spaces into evocative cinematic soundscapes.
