
The review panel — comprising Suranjana Satwalekar (Spatial Design Consultant & Design Educator), Biju Kuriakose (Co-founder, architectureRED), Niki Shah (Director of Urban Design, HCP), and Apurva Parikh (Director, Multi Media Consultants Pvt. Ltd. — MMCPL) — evaluated the submissions and selected the awardees.
Among the 11 student awardees, the top three projects were selected and further recognized with the CEPT Gujral Foundation Excellence Awards 2025.
The CEPT Gujral Foundation Excellence Awards is one of the main initiatives led by The Gujral Foundation through a long-term partnership that commenced between The Foundation and CEPT University in 2019. The CEPT Gujral Foundation Excellence Award is a cash award of Rs.1 lakh each, awarded to six students annually by The Gujral Foundation for studio excellence.
Prof. Barjor Mehta, President of CEPT University, and Ms. Feroze Gujral, Founding Trustee, Co-Founder, and Director of the Gujral Foundation, felicitated the award winners at the event. Cash prizes were presented to the top three recipients of the prestigious Gujral Foundation Award, recognizing outstanding student work.

The ceremony also featured the official unveiling of the exhibition catalog and a specially curated booklet showcasing student and studio projects. The launch was led by the President, joined by the Jury Member, Deans, Deputy Provost, Registrar, Head of the Teaching and Learning Centre (TLC), and Ms. Gujral.
The exhibition is open to all till 10 Oct, 10 am to 8 pm, at the Lilavati Lalbhai Library.
