The SILA Student Design Awards 2025 marked the 40th anniversary of the award, continuing its longstanding mission to nurture emerging landscape architecture talent and promote excellence in landscape architecture education in Singapore and internationally. The awards celebrate innovative, research-led student design work and encourage deeper engagement with environmental and landscape challenges.
At the 2025 edition, alumni from CEPT University’s Master of Architecture (Landscape Architecture) program received multiple recognitions for projects developed in the design studios, Designed Ecologies (Spring 2024) and Sculpting Spaces (Spring 2025). The awarded projects demonstrated strong analytical frameworks, contextual understanding, and design approaches addressing ecological and spatial conditions.
Alumni Bhaskar K.A, Namratha D V, and Rutuja Parakh (FA PG ‘22) from the Designed Ecologies studio and Venu Gopal Koranne (FA PG ‘ 23) from the Sculpting Spaces studio were recognised in the University Category of the awards.
