About the Strategic Initiative office

The Strategic Initiatives Office (SIO) at CEPT University has been established to support the University’s mission and advance its commitment to continuous improvement and innovation. The office undertakes initiatives that strengthen CEPT University’s academic, research, and institutional capabilities in alignment with its long-term vision.

In its initial phase, the SIO has been entrusted with promoting innovation and facilitating the acquisition of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) for the outstanding work produced by faculty members, researchers, and students of CEPT University. The office plays a key role in nurturing a culture of creativity, research translation, and knowledge dissemination.

The Strategic Initiatives Office works closely with the President and the Provost, as well as with Deans and Heads of Offices, to identify, develop, and facilitate the execution of strategic initiatives that further the mission and objectives of the University.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Support the University’s mission through strategic planning and initiative development.
  • Promote innovation across academic and research activities at CEPT University.
  • Facilitate Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) awareness, filing, and management for faculty, researchers, and students.
  • Work with the President, Provost, Deans, and Heads of Offices to identify and execute new strategic initiatives.
  • Strengthen institutional capacity through forward-looking and impact-driven initiatives.
  • Foster interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation-led growth within the University.
