About Anuj Daga
Anuj is trained as an architect (Bachelor of Architecture, 2008), after which he went on to pursue his interests in History & Theory of Architecture at Yale School of Architecture, Yale University (Master of Environmental Design, 2014). He has contributed to a number of curatorial and research initiatives including ‘Young Subcontinent’, a visual arts project organised by the Serendipity Arts Foundation (2016 – 2018), and for ‘When is Space? Conversations in Contemporary Architecture’, commissioned by Jawahar Kala Kendra (2018) and VAICA, an online festival dedicated to contemporary video art practices. More recently, he curated ‘The Waiting Room’ exhibition (2025) for the ICAS13 Conference in Surabaya, Indonesia, as an extension of the initiative ‘Youth on the Move’, supported through the Knowledge Mobilisation Award of the Urban Studies Foundation. Anuj’s teaching and research interests focus on visual culture, spatial practices, and processes of meaning-making within the contemporary built environment in South Asia.
