About Shalini Sinha

Shalini is an urban and transport planner having more than 25 years of experience in the transport sector in India and UK. She is Professor and Dean of Faculty of Planning, CEPT University and also the Head of the Center of Excellence in Urban Transport at the CEPT Research and Development Foundation.
Shalini completed her Masters in Transport Planning and Engineering from ITS, University of Leeds, UK and PhD in Transport Planning from CEPT University. She has worked extensively in strategic transport planning, transport system analysis and modelling and public transport projects including bus and BRT system planning, operations and monitoring in Indian cities. More recently, she has been involved in research projects dealing with commuter behaviour and choices and the emerging areas of electric mobility and data analytics applications in transport system operations planning and performance assessments.
