About Jhanavi Parikh

Ms. Jhanavi Parikh brings experience in interior design practice, academic teaching, research, and design-based inquiry. Before joining CEPT University, she worked as a Junior Architect at Kamal Mangaldas Architects and is currently the Co-founder of UrbanNest Design Studio. With more than five years of professional and academic experience, she has worked across areas including residential and corporate interiors, hospitality design, material exploration, and practice-led pedagogy. Her work positions design practice as a mode of inquiry, engaging with materiality, context, and spatial experience, while her teaching focuses on bridging real-world complexities with studio learning. She has received multiple recognitions, including the FOAID Platinum Award (2024) and several academic excellence awards, and her work has been featured in publications such as Architectural Digest India and Architects & Interiors India. Outside of work, her interests include architectural photography, writing, and exploring narratives in design and urban contexts.
Jhanavi Parikh is an Architect and Interior Designer, graduated with distinction from Nirma University in 2019 and later completing her Masters in Interior Design at CEPT University. With a wealth of academic excellence awards under her belt, she honed her skills working alongside esteemed architect Kamal Mangaldas. In 2020, she co-founded UrbanNest Design Studio, where she applies her expertise to craft innovative and sustainable designs that elevate the human experience. Alongside her professional practice, Jhanavi serves as a Visiting Faculty at CEPT University, inspiring the next generation of designers known for her keen attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
