Jinal Shah is an architect and computational designer specializing in the integration of digital technologies into design practice and education. She is currently an Assistant Professor and Program Chair of the Master’s in Computational Design and Fabrication program at CEPT University. Jinal holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from KRVIA and an International Master’s in Interior Architecture with a specialization in Computational Design from CEPT University.
Her work centres on developing data-driven, material-informed, and fabrication-oriented methodologies for architecture and design. She has led design studios, international workshops, and courses focused on integrating artificial intelligence, machine learning, and computational methods into design workflows.
She is actively engaged in research and the development of tools, algorithms, and computational workflows that optimize design, planning, and construction processes — bridging the gap between academic research and professional practice.
