About Speaker:
Élodie Alexandre, a French-born artist working primarily in ceramics and drawing, is a co-founder of Atelier Lālmitti in the artists’ village of Andretta in Himachal Pradesh. As a co-founder of Atelier Lālmitti, her work blends narrative illustration and ceramics, earning global recognition through exhibitions at the British Ceramics Biennial and the Biennial of Ceramics in Belgium.
Her practice merges drawing and clay to explore identity, displacement, and motherhood through deeply personal narratives.
