About Sneh Hazra

Sneh works with ceramics and glass, focusing on heritage craft processes from the perspective of a maker that includes material composition, technique, and cultural aspects of fabrication. With a strong design background, she has contributed to craft research at the National Crafts Museum & Hastkala Academy and the National Design Centre in the past. Sneh is passionate about exploring various hand-making techniques and, more recently, examining the fundamental aspects of crafting.
Sneh Hazra is a glass and ceramic maker-designer with focus on heritage crafts and processes. She completed her master s degree in Glass And Ceramic Art And Science from Universidade Nova De Lisboa, Portugal, followed by cultural management from the University of Vienna. She previously worked as a researcher and design consultant at museums. More recently, she has been working as an educator.
