The Sculpture Park is part of programming by the Gujral Foundation at the CEPT campus, along with 6 annual excellence awards and exciting new courses on the summer winter school curriculum.
The Park will feature works by leading contemporary artists and architects, alongside which there will be workshops and talks. The artworks presented this semester by contemporary artist Ayesha Singh and reD architects will be interactive and respond to the notions of time, space, history and identity.
CEPT University will also exhibit works of renowned ceramist, Ray Meeker from a private collection in Ahmedabad and Vishnu Kolleri.
CEPT University has announced a five year partnership with the Gujral Foundation, a non profit trust set up in 2008, by Mohit and Feroze Gujral, to support the arts, architecture and design in India. Over the last decade, the foundation has supported 150+ artists and 50+ exhibitions in India and internationally including the Kochi-Muziris Biennale, My East is Your West - a collateral event at the 56th Venice Biennale, Contour Biennale 8, the 11th Shanghai Biennale, the 8th Berlin Biennale, The State of Indigo at the London Design Biennale, Colomboscope and the contemporary Indian artists Desire Machine Collective at The British Museum.
