1. Topic: COVID Management
Speaker: Smt. Urvashi Prasad, Senior Public Policy Specialist at NITI Aayog

Smt. Urvashi Prasad is a Public Policy Specialist at the office of the Vice Chairman at NITI Aayog. Currently, she is a part of the core team supporting the work of Government of India's Empowered Group 1 for managing the Covid-19 Pandemic in the country. She has extensive experience in health, nutrition, sanitation, gender and public policy.
Smt. Prasad has completed BSc in Life Sciences (Genetics) from University of Birmingham, UK, followed by an MPhil in Bioscience Enterprise from University of Cambridge and an MSc in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. She has published extensively in leading national and international newspapers, journals and digital platforms. She is a member of the World Economic Forum’s Expert Network and an alumnus of the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers Community.

2. Topic: Urban Management - Challenges
Speaker: Dr. Ramnath Sonawane, Secretary at Maharashtra Water Resource Regulatory Authority

Dr. Ramnath Sonawane holds over 30 years’ experience in urban management, e-governance and implementing Urban Infrastructure Projects which include Roads, Water Supply, Waste Water Management, Infrastructure Disaster Management.
Currently, Dr. Sonawane is the Secretary at Maharashtra Water Resource Regulatory Authority, prior to which he was CEO, Nagpur Smart and Sustainable City Development Corporation Ltd. He has served as a Municipal Commissioner for cities such as Ulhasnagar, Jalgaon, and Kalyan-Dombivali as well.
Dr. Sonawane has worked with International Agencies like the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, European Union, GIZ and the French Development Agency (AFD). He is also well known for his administrative acumen. Dr. Sonawane holds a Ph.D. from the North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon.
