Profile of the speaker:
Vinay Babu has more than 25 years’ of experience in planning, designing, implementing and training with state of art technologies in Geospatial.With in-depth knowhow of GIS, Remote Sensing and Photogrammetry, he is involved in establishing labs and commissioning prestigious projects at various organization in Department of Space, Cabinet Secretariats, Defense, DRDO, Paramilitary, Central and State Government, Environmental, Agriculture and Private Industries in INDIA and other Allied Countries.
He is the first employee of Intergraph SG&I India Pvt. Ltd. and in his present appointment he is responsible in conceptualizing Start-of-Art solutions for Government with Geospatial technologies for strengthening Law-enforcement agencies- police, emergency response, medical response, disaster management, Multi-utilities including electricity, fiber, water and gas, using his in-depth knowledge in Systems, Networking, Software development, and Web and solution architecture. He is a key member involved in all initiatives taken up by the organization towards an Autonomous Ecosystem and Innovation.
He is also additionally a technical member in smart cities standards committee of BIS and Member in Geospatial committee for FICCI.
