The formal launch of the “Learning building performance evaluation for improved design and engineering” (Learn-BPE) Project is scheduled on November 3, Friday, from 11:00am – 1:00pm at the NZEB Seminar Room, CEPT University.
Learn-BPE is funded by the UK government’s Newton Fund through the Royal Academy of Engineering. The aim of this project is to undertake research and educational activities to develop new knowledge, tools and skills to evaluate the actual performance of buildings from an engineering, technology and building occupant perspective. The project will develop and validate post-occupancy building performance evaluation (BPE) methodology for Indian buildings through field studies. The project is being led by Prof Sanyogita Manu from CEPT University in collaboration with Prof Rajat Gupta from Oxford Brookes University (UK).
Experts and stakeholders from academia and industry, interested in the outcomes of the project, have been invited to generate a meaningful discussion around BPE in India.
