The Faculty of Technology extended an invitation to the conference titled "The Digital Built India – Ahmedabad Regional Extension," co-hosted by CEPT University on 17th May at 9:00 AM at the Balwantrai N. Brahmbhatt (BNB) Lecture Hall, CEPT University, Ahmedabad. Organized in collaboration with the Confederation of Digital Construction Practitioners (CDCP) and buildingSMART India, the regional event brought together thought leaders, industry professionals, policymakers, and academic experts to explore the future of digital infrastructure. As India advances toward smarter and more resilient infrastructure, the conference served as a regional platform for knowledge exchange and capacity building. It aimed to equip professionals with the tools and strategies required to lead digital innovation in the built environment.
It’s a leading one-day conference focused on advancing the digital transformation of India’s built environment through the adoption of Building Information Modeling (BIM), openBIM standards, and emerging technologies.Key sessions will focus on the integration of Artificial Intelligence in sustainable development, highlighting real-world innovations shaping the construction and infrastructure sectors. A dedicated track will address Gujarat’s long-term infrastructure vision, showcasing how BIM and digital tools are accelerating state-led transformation. The event will also highlight capacity building in BIM at CEPT and introduce the global openBIM movement by buildingSMART.
