Chirayu Bhatt is an Architect-Urban Planner with extensive experience working at the confluence of urban planning, urban design, and public policy. His primary role is that he is the Deputy Provost (Academics) and the dean of the Faculty of Management at CEPT University. His key responsibilities include transforming teaching and learning at CEPT, to prepare students to meet the future challenges, both national and global. He also leads new initiatives which are part of the President’s strategic priority. He oversees strategic communications and facilitates collaborations within and outside the University. Alongside, he occasionally provides service as Urban Specialist. Prior to joining the University he was Associate Director - Urban Planning at HCP and the Executive Coordinator for Environmental Planning Collaborative. Earlier, he has also worked with HOK for over 5 years on a number of international projects in US, Middle East and Asia Pacific. He has led projects involving multiple teams across geographies and is skilled at managing in fast-paced work environments. Chirayu is a member of the Institute of Town Planners, India. He is also a LEED Accredited Professional. He holds a Master’s Degree in City and Regional Planning from Georgia Tech and a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from CEPT (now CEPT University). He has also completed a one-year Accelerated General Management Program with the IIM Ahmedabad.
