Kireet Patel
Adjunct Professor
Kireet Patel is the founding faculty member and Associate Professor at Faculty of Design, CEPT University. He is an advisor at Design Innovation and Craft Resource Centre (DICRC), CEPT University. He holds a Diploma in Architecture from the School of Architecture, CEPT (1989). Early in his career, Kireet Patel received special training in nature knowledge and light weight sculptures from the well-known German architect and structural engineer Frei Otto, at the Institute of Lightweight structures in Stuttgart, Germany. He has coordinated international exhibitions such as the "Festival of India" , USA (1984), and the "Golden Eye" Exhibition at the Cooper Hewitt Museum, New York (1985). He was the chief designer for National Cultural Festival, "Apna Utsav" , Delhi (1986). He is co-author of "Arayish: Wall Paintings of Shekhawati" , (2006) the SID Research Cell's first monograph in the Space Making Craft Series.
