Sachin Soni is Associate Professor at Faculty of Architecture, CEPT University. He taught at CEPT and National Institute of Design (NID) as a visiting faculty as well as practiced as an architect for three years before joining as a full-time faculty member in 2008. Since then, he has been involved in teaching Architecture & Urban Design Studios, History & Theory of Architecture and Visual Studies with an emphasis on conceptualization and development of design language. Inspired by thinkers like Richard Sennett, Jane Jacobs and Patrick Geddes during his postgraduate studies in City Design and Social Science at London School of Economics (LSE), Sachin is passionate about the idea of crafting inclusive habitats and has keen interest in exploring alternative paradigms for inclusive urban spaces in Indian cities. Currently he is also program coordinator for Undergraduate program at Faculty of Architecture.
