Dr. Rutul Joshi Invited as International Scientific Reviewer for PRISM Global Consortium

Dr. Rutul Joshi, Sr.Associate Professor at the Faculty of Planning, CEPT University, has been invited to serve as an international scientific reviewer for the mid-term review of the global research consortium PRISM (Partnership for Research on Informal and Shared Mobility).
PRISM is hosted at the Columbia Climate School’s Center for Sustainable Urban Development and is funded by the Volvo Research and Education Foundations (VREF). The consortium focuses on advancing knowledge and research on informal transport systems and shared mobility across Asia, Africa, and Latin America, contributing to more inclusive and sustainable urban mobility policies.
As part of the international scientific review panel, Dr. Joshi will join distinguished scholars including Chair Prof. Gina Porter (Durham University, UK) and Prof. Ricardo Giesen (Pontificia Universidad Católica, Chile). The review panel will assess the consortium’s research progress, methodological rigor, knowledge outputs, and policy impact during its mid-term evaluation.
Dr. Joshi’s participation in this global review process reflects CEPT University’s growing engagement in international research networks addressing critical questions of mobility, equity, and urban transformation in Global South Asia.
