CEPT 11th Convocation on 18th February 2017

The annual convocation of CEPT University was held on Saturday, 18th February, 2017 at which 500 students graduated. This was the 11th convocation held at CEPT. Dr. Tridip Suhrud, Director & Chief Editor Sabarmati Ashram Preservation and Memorial Trust, Gandhi Ashram, Ahmedabad was the chief guest and delivered the Convocation Address. After the welcome announcement by the Registrar Ms. Anita Hiranandani, the lamp lighting ceremony took place followed by a rendition of the CEPT Geet by the student choir group. Dr. Bimal Patel President, CEPT and Mr. Sanjay Lalbhai, Chairman CEPT, addressed the gathering of students, faculty members and guests. Mr. Praful Anubhai, Trustee, CEPT was also present on the dais along with the deans of the five Faculties.

The Group Conferment of Degrees began with the Award of Proficiency at University level. Group photographs of all the students were taken with the dignitaries. Then the faculty-wise conferment of degrees was done, beginning with the Doctoral Office.
