Chirayu has over 10 years of post professional experience as an architect, urban planner, project manager and administrator. He has worked on architecture, urban design and planning projects in India and abroad. He was Senior Urban Planner and Project Manager with HOK in USA and in Hong Kong. Most recently, he was Executive Coordinator for Environmental Planning Collaborative (EPC).

An alumnus of the Faculty of Architecture, Chirayu completed his Bachelors in Architecture at the time when CEPT was affiliated with North Gujarat University. He completed his Master of City and Regional Planning from Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, USA. Chirayu is also a Certified Planner (AICP), LEED AP (legacy) and a member of Institute of Town Planners-India (ITPI) and the American Planning Association (APA).

As Coordinator, his primary responsibility is to coordinate and support various activities and initiatives undertaken by the office of the President.
