About Amit Kaur

Dr. Amit Kaur is an Assistant Professor at Faculty of Planning, CEPT University. She specializes in the domains of Land and its Development, Housing Planning & Policy, Quantitative Methods in Planning, GIS and its applications, Smart Cities. She has been involved in research and teaching roles across different institutions including IIT Delhi, TERI SAS, D Y Patil School of Architecture.
Dr. Amit Kaur holds a PhD in the domain of Housing and Community Planning from IIT Kharagpur. She has completed her M Plan (Housing) from CEPT University, her M Sc Geography from Presidency University Kolkata and B Sc in Geography from University of Calcutta. She was involved in teaching in different institutions at both Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels including Dr D Y Patil School of Architecture Pune, TERI School of Advanced Studies, New Delhi. She was also working as a Post Doctoral Research Fellow at School of Public Policy, IIT Delhi before joining CEPT University
