About Ankita Trivedi
Ankita Trivedi is a speculative designer and academic working across worldbuilding, design fiction, and futures-oriented pedagogy. She is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Design, CEPT University, where she teaches interdisciplinary studios spanning product, communication, and computational design. Her work explores how speculative narratives, visual culture, and experiential design can be used to imagine alternative futures — particularly within Indian and Global South contexts. She is the co-founder of Living Midnight Narrative Outfit (LMNO), a design-research practice that develops fictional worlds, exhibitions, and pedagogical experiments rooted in storytelling and cultural imagination. Ankita holds a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from CEPT University and an MA in Narrative Environments from Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London. Her practice bridges teaching, research, and public engagement, with a focus on imagination as a critical and creative tool.
