About Prof. Barjor

Barjor Mehta, an architect and urban planner, is the President of CEPT University. He is also a member of the Governing Body and the Board of Management of CEPT University.

Barjor Mehta has close to 40 years of experience working on a wide range of aspects of the urban sector. Before joining CEPT University, he worked with the World Bank for 23 years and was based in Washington DC, Dar es Salaam, New Delhi, Beijing, and Singapore from where he worked on multiple urban sector projects across several countries in the Middle East and North Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa, East Asia, and South Asia. Before joining the World Bank, Barjor has lived and worked on urban initiatives in Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Bhutan.
