Subin Jameel is an architect and a graphic designer with interests in practice, pedagogy and speculative research. He received a Bachelors degree in Architecture from RVCA and worked as an architect at Architecture Paradigm. His design inquisitiveness led him to pursue a MA in Architecture at the Staedelschule, Germany followed by a MSc in Design, Theory and Pedagogy at SCI-Arc, Los Angeles.

After receiving a Bachelor s degree in Architecture from the RVCA, Bangalore (2013), he worked as an Architectural designer at Architecture Paradigm, Bangalore for 3 years. He was responsible for the design development, project coordination and execution of a mixed typology of projects, ranging from residential, institutional and commercial. He also freelances as a graphic designer and has produced branding solutions in both web and print media. His clients range from the corporate and hospitality sector to independent events, musicians and creatives. His practical experience and design inquisitiveness led him to pursue a Master of Arts in Architecture at the Staedelschule in Frankfurt, Germany (2018) followed by a Master of Science in Architecture, Theory and Pedagogy at SCI-Arc (2019) in Los Angeles. Subsequently, he worked as a full-time assistant teacher at SCI-Arc for 3 semesters exploring design implications of fabrication, synthetic landscapes and machine learning within the architectural discourse.
