Research Assistant position for the ICSSR Project at the Faculty of Planning, CEPT University
Research Assistant for the ICSSR Supported Longitudinal Study on Circular Economy and Waste Management in Urban India
Applications are invited from eligible Indian Nationals for the post of Research Assistant (One position) for ICSSR-supported Longitudinal Studies for Viksit Bharat. This project explores the circular economy in solid waste management in urban India. The Faculty of Planning, CEPT University, Ahmedabad, has undertaken this project. The position is contractual for one year and may get extended based on the candidate's satisfactory performance.

| Brief Project Description | This five-year longitudinal study aims to evaluate the extent of circularity in the waste management sector (municipal, plastic, and e-waste) for the four selected Indian cities such as New Delhi, Ahmedabad, Chennai, and Patna, across various dimensions (institutional, regulatory, social, financial, technical, and environmental) to provide policy-level recommendations for enhancing circular economy practices and explore pathways to transition to a net-zero society.
