Computer Labs
The FT Computer lab is responsible for providing and maintaining high-quality infrastructure and for ensuring the uninterrupted availability of services. It is equipped with high-configuration hardware and the latest software packages pertaining to surveying, mapping, image processing, construction engineering, and structural analysis. The lab has also high-end workstations to deal with many data/images.
The list of software is as below:
- ESRI’s ArcGIS and ENVI: For mapping, visualization, and analysis of geospatial data as well-advanced satellite image images.
- Bentley Education Suite: It is a set of software related to construction, building design, geotechnical analysis, civil design, hydrology and hydraulics, mobility simulations, reality modeling, UAV data processing, mapping, and surveying, etc.
- Hexagon’s ERDAS Imagine 2022: For satellite image processing and photogrammetric applications.
- ORACLE’s Primavera: For enterprise project portfolio management
- Autodesk’s AutoCAD: For design and drafting applications
- VisiLean: It is a cloud-based solution that offers lean production planning and control workflow with BIM integration
- LightStanza: For advanced electric light and daylight analysis
- DesignBuilder: For building energy simulation
