Eligibility
National Applicants
Applicants for the Master’s program in the general category shall have a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and those in the reserved categories shall have a minimum of 45% aggregate marks for the qualifying degrees from a recognized institution.
Qualifying Degree
- Bachelor’s degree (BE/ B.Tech) or equivalent in any branch of Engineering / Bachelor’s degree in architecture / Planning / Urban Design from a recognized institution. 4-Year Program.
- Master’s/ Bachelor’s (3 or 4 Years Programme) in Geology, Earth Science, Atmospheric Science, Oceanography, Agriculture, Disaster Management, Forestry, Climate Change, Computer Science, Computer Applications, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Environmental Science, Information Science, GIS, Sustainability, Ecology, Electronics, Geography, Mathematics, Statistics or allied subjects.
Important note: Candidates taking admission in the program with BSc (3 years)/BA (3 years)/ BA Honors (4 years) will be awarded an MSc degree after successfully completing this 2-year program.
International/Foreign Applicants

Work Experience
Applicants should have minimum 5 years of overall experience as on the last date of application of the year in which the application is made, with at least 2 years in service of the organisation sponsoring his study. This organisation can be academic, industrial, or research-based in the relevant field for which the candidate is seeking admission.
