    From Railway Station:
    Kalupur Railway Station – approx. 8 km

    Sabarmati Railway Station – approx. 7 km
    Auto-rickshaws and app-based cabs are easily available. Visitors can also take AMTS/BRTS bus or the Metro Rail.

    Nearest BRTS / AMTS bus stop: Gujarat University (7 mins short walk to campus for entry from South Gate)

    Nearest metro station: Commerce Six Roads (10–15 minute walk or 3–4 minute auto-rickshaw ride)

    From Airport:
    Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International/Domestic Airport – approx. 11 km 
    Taxis and app-based cabs are available from the airport. Visitors may take the BRTS bus from the domestic airport; however, the route to reach the nearest BRTS bus-stop is not direct and requires a transfer.

    From State Transport Bus Terminal:

    Gita Mandir Bus Stand – approx. 9 km
    Auto-rickshaws, app-based cabs, and AMTS/BRTS buses are available.

  3. Are hostel and mess facilities provided to the students?
    A: Yes, hostel and food facilities are available. For more details, visit -  Accommodation
  4. What are the options of availing a loan? A: For loan, CEPT University has tie-up with few banks. The students can also avail bank loan from their home-towns. In either case, bank loan subsidy to the tune of 50% is given on the interest paid to the students as per CEPT University criteria. For details see the list here.
  5. Can a foreign national apply in postgraduate programs in your university?
    A: Yes. Candidates of any nationality can apply for our postgraduate programs. You may visit the link to know more about the International students
  6. How to apply?
    A: The application process is completely online.

    1. Create an account by registering on our website.

    2. A verification email will be sent on the registered email by donotreply@cept.ac.in

    3. Click on the link sent in the email to verify your credentials

    4. Go to the login page and enter your registered email id and password

    5. “Select the Program to Apply” page will appear. Select the program of your choice.

    6. Applications for multiple programs can be submitted from the same login by clicking on the tab “Apply to a different program”

    7. After filling up the form and uploading the necessary documents, click the Save & Preview button.

    8. After previewing your form, click the Submit & Pay button. The system will take you to the payment gateway to pay for the application.

    9. After the successful payment, an application form is generated with the application number which could be downloaded from the My Application tab.

  7. How many types of scholarships are available?
    A: CEPT University offers both Pre and Post admission scholarship. Pre admissions scholarship is the initiative taken by CEPT University. It assures the student get financial aid from the university at the time of admission, thereby facilitating the student to make an informed decision. Pre admission scholarship application can be filled simultaneously with the program application. The candidate will be able submit the scholarship application only after making the payment for the program application.

    In addition to scholarships, students have opportunities to earn financial support through paid teaching assistantships and student assistantships. For further information click Scholarships. 

  8. Who can apply for Pre admissions Means scholarship?
    A: Students with family income less than Rs. 12 lacs per annum are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
  9. How to apply for Pre admission Means scholarship?
    A: The candidates can apply for Pre admission Means scholarship from “My Application” on https://admissions.cept.ac.in/cept-adm-login.php
  10. What documents are required for Pre admission Means Scholarship?
    A: Please visit the scholarships link to know about the documents required.
  11. How much financial aid can a student receive?
    A: Pre admissions scholarship award ranges from 20% to 60% of the total tuition fee.
  1. Can a student apply for multiple programs?
    A: Yes, the student can apply for multiple programs, provided he/she fulfil the eligibility criteria.
     
  2. Are there any Management/ NRI/ Donation seats at CEPT University?
    A: There are no Management/NRI/Donation seats.
     
  3. Can a student get accepted to more than one program at the University?
    A: A student may receive more than one offer of admission depending on the number of programs they have applied to. However, they may accept only one offer at a time. If they later receive an offer from their preferred program, they may request a transfer.
     
  4. How do I secure my admission?
    A: The student receives the admission offer letter along with the payment instructions in their registered email id. He/she requires to pay the fee within the timeline mentioned in the admission offer letter. 
     
  5. What is the process of refund if I cancel my admission after joining the course?
    A: The refund policy will be shared along with the admission offer letter.
  1. What is the course duration of Postgraduate programs?
    A: All the Postgraduate programs offered are 2 years full time programs.
     
  2. Can a student apply for multiple programs?
    A: Yes, the student can apply for multiple programs, provided he/she fulfills the eligibility criteria.
     
  3. Are there any Management/NRI/Donation seats at CEPT University?
    A: There are no Management/ NRI/ Donation seats.
     
  4. If the student is in the final year of his/her Graduation at his/her College/University. The exam/thesis/juries are still pending and if he/she does not receive grades/marksheet or degree certificate from his/her University by the date of admission, can he/she still apply?
    A: Yes. If you are currently pursuing last semester of the course, you can apply for the program. You need to send a letter from your College / University specifying that you are registered in the last year/ last semester. You can appear for exams and can finish all formalities to get the final degree before the reporting date at CEPT University.

    Candidates who get admission offer will be admitted provisionally. At the time of reporting at CEPT University, they should produce all original marksheets, provisional degree certificate from the institute along with the migration certificate. The student should have completed all the formalities related to their previous degree (exams, juries etc.) before the commencement of semester at CEPT University. Failure to do this will result in cancellation of admission.  The final dates for the same will be updated on CEPT website.
     

  5. Some universities follow an SGPA grading system. In such cases, is an SGPA equivalence certificate required, or should the SGPA be first converted to CGPA and then CGPA equivalence certificate be submitted?
    A: You are required to submit CGPA to equivalent Percentage marks Certificate issued by your university on official letterhead.

    If this document is not available, you should share the formula/relationship to convert the CGPA to equivalent percentage marks which may be available at the back of your marksheet or on university website. If it is not available, you need get formula/relationship to convert the CGPA to equivalent percentage marks from your university on the official letterhead.
     

  6. What will be the syllabus of entrance exam?
    A: CEPT PG Test will be online home-based exam. It will consist of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) related to Verbal English, Logical Reasoning, and Mathematical Ability.
