
NABL is a constituent board of the Quality Council of India, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. An accreditation from the NABL is a formal recognition of the laboratory’s technical competence in carrying out tests/measurements, based on a third-party assessment process per ISO/ IEC 17025.





As part of the renewal process, CEPT Laboratories had applied for accreditation under Mechanical and Chemical disciplines, spanning six categories –
- Building Materials,
- Pollution and Environment,
- Water,
- Soil and Rock,
- Wood and Wood Products
- Non-destructive Building Materials — Reinforced Concrete Structures.
This encompasses 18 subdivisions, totalling 251 testing parameters.
The renewal of this accreditation is a joint effort by the faculty members, laboratory staff, and support from the CRDF.
