About Purva Gupta

Purva Gupta holds a Ph.D. and M.Tech in Construction Engineering and Management from IIT Delhi and has over 12 years of combined experience in academia, research, and industry. She is currently engaged in teaching MTech students in Construction Engineering and Management. Her research focuses on integration of recent information and communication technologies in construction sector, with several publications and conferences in this domain.
Purva Gupta holds a PhD and an M.Tech in Construction Engineering and Management from IIT Delhi. She worked with Larsen & Toubro Construction for around six years, gaining extensive experience in large-scale infrastructure projects and project management. She is a DAAD Scholarship holder and completed her Master’s project on Building Information Modelling at TU Dresden, Germany. Her research interests include blockchain applications in construction management, circular economy and sustainable practices, dispute prevention and resolution, and digital transformation in project delivery. She is also committed to promoting gender equity in STEMM and fostering innovation through interdisciplinary collaboration in the built environment.
