About the Position:
CEPT established the School of Building Science and Technology (SBST) in 1982 that focuses on issues concerning the construction & management of human habitats and cities. SBST has now been renamed as Faculty of Technology (FT). FT offers a five years’ honors undergraduate program in Civil engineering and multiple two years’ Postgraduate programs in Construction Engineering & Management, Structural Engineering Design, Geomatics and Building Energy Performance.
CEPT University invites applications for Assistant Professor (Full time) for Master of Building Energy Performance. The position is suited for academics, researchers and practicing professionals who are keen to seriously engage with teaching and research at CEPT.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- All faculty members at CEPT University will be engaged in a combination of Teaching, Research and Institutional work.
- To make a distinguished contribution to teaching, continually improving academic standards and adopting cutting-edge curricula and pedagogic practices.
- To provide leadership in curriculum development through continuous improvement and innovate in the design, articulation and delivery of courses
- To contribute to the collegial environment at the University and to further its mission in the pursuit of excellence.
- To advance student learning and student success based on outcomes outlined in the curricula.
- To encourage student participation based on cross-project collaboration between batches of students and faculty.
- To give feedback in reviews, outcomes of various kinds of scales.

Expertise Required:
- Should demonstrate core competency in specialization applying for.
- Excellent teaching and research skills, and an ability to integrate the new methods of teaching and mentoring with an on-going pedagogy.
- Should have excellent communication, presentation and technical skills relevant for the area of the program.
- In addition to technical capabilities, expertise in developing a critical understanding of the scope of the profession.
- Should be fluent in English.
- Demonstrated ability of integrating professional best practices in teaching.
- Support students for field visits, placement and extracurricular activities
- Academic administration includes, the admission process, coordination between various departments of the University for the MTech BEP program.
