Who decides what is remembered — and what is forgotten?
This International Archives Week, CEPT Archives joins the global celebration of archives and their vital role in preserving memory, documenting change, and making histories accessible for future generations. More than repositories of records, archives serve as spaces of discovery, reflection, and dialogue, helping us understand the people, places, and events that have shaped our world.
On 10 June 2026, join us for conversations that explore the significance of archives in shaping historical narratives, revealing forgotten histories, and opening new perspectives on the worlds we inherit and continue to build. Through reflections on material culture, photography, urban histories, and the built environment, the program will examine how archives connect past experiences with present questions and future possibilities, while encouraging us to think critically about memory, place, and the stories we choose to preserve.
