CEPT Alumni Recognised at Inaugral AD New Wave 2026

Compartment S4, a design practice founded by alumni of the Faculty of Architecture, has been recognised as one of the winners of the inaugural AD New Wave 2026 by Architectural Digest India. The practice was established by Aman Amin (FA UG 11), Nishita Parmar (FA UG 11), Manuni Patel (FA UG 11), Krishna Parikh (FA UG 11), Monik Shah (FA UG 11), Kishan Shah (FA UG 13) , Vedanti Agarwal (FA UG 11) and Prasik Chaudhari (FA UG 11).

Founded in 2017 by a collective of architects, Compartment S4 is a multidisciplinary design practice with studios in Ahmedabad, Mumbai, and Bengaluru. The practice works across architecture, interiors, landscape design, and urban planning, engaging with projects through a research-oriented and context-responsive approach.

Compartment S4’s work is informed by data-driven design processes that analyse site conditions, user groups, and spatial contexts to develop informed and responsive solutions. The studio places emphasis on visual communication and iterative design methods to enable efficient decision-making and project development. Its practice also focuses on sustainable design strategies, including the use of local materials, environmentally responsive systems, and contemporary construction and joinery techniques.

AD New Wave is a new initiative by Architectural Digest India that recognises 25 emerging designers, studios, and practices from across the Indian subcontinent with up to 10 years of professional expertise. The platform highlights original and innovative work across architecture, interiors, furniture, textiles, lighting, and allied design disciplines, with an emphasis on craftsmanship, material exploration, and contemporary design practices.
