The program explored critical dimensions of contract systems in infrastructure and urban projects, including arbitration under ICA 1872, contract administration and monitoring, dispute resolution mechanisms, metro project procurement frameworks, FIDIC/NEC and consultancy contracts, labour law applications, SMART legal contracts, and case studies on O&M and solid waste management contracts.

The sessions examined the interrelationship between legal frameworks, procurement processes, policy design, and project implementation in the context of urban infrastructure delivery.

The sessions encouraged critical engagement through real-world case discussions, enabling participants to connect statutory provisions and contractual frameworks with on-ground implementation challenges. Discussions also highlighted the role of effective contract management in addressing risks, improving accountability, and supporting the successful delivery of urban infrastructure projects.
