The BUD Program gives students a professional training that equips them to work in the public realm. Students who complete this program will be ready for entry level employment in urban design and related firms, which work on urban spatial issues.

Technology Courses

 

...train students in the fundamentals of technologies relevant to urban design. They are comprised of into 2 types: climate, and construction related courses.

Society Structures Courses

 

...develop student's ability to discern and analyse the structures that govern society.

History Reading Writing Courses

 

...develop student's domain knowledge, as well as their ability to critically analyse text and ideas, and to communicate their own ideas in writing.

L2 Studios

 

…build student design skills through the execution of structured design methods, focusing on represention, construction & specification, and planning/organisation.

L3 Studios

 

…test students' ability to critically synthesize varied forms of information (contextual, theoretical, policy, technical) through the resolution of a design problem.

Note: For successful completion a total of 200 credits are required. The total number and distribution of credits is subject to change. The student would be informed about the same at the time of registration.
