Campus Office manages the operation and maintenance of all facilities at CEPT University. The University campus is located over 12 acres of land area. Campus Office is the central point of contact for day to day operation and facilities related services. The main aim of the campus office is to provide clean and well maintained infrastructure along with adequate facilities to students, faculty members and all staff.

About the Position:

CEPT University invites applications for the position of Assistant Manager (Security),Campus Maintenance Office – CEPT University. This is shift based position which will change at regular interval. We are looking for professionals who possess excellent interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, coordination skills with an understanding of various operative processes at the University level.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Act as In-charge for all security related operations of the University and to report to Campus Maintenance Office.
• Ensure safety and security in the University campus and surrounding areas.
• Managing and controlling the entry and exit of visitors, vehicles and goods/materials in the Campus premises, managing complete access control.
• Authorizing ID Cards of Students, visiting faculties and temporary cards of visitors by verifying the details.
• Visitors Management including VIP Guest movement, during various events happening on campus.
• Supervision of Fire Fighting Equipment and procedures along with training to staff.
• Providing and accessing regular training of security personnels.
• Verification and certification of outsourced agency staff attendance and bills.
• Supporting Hostel Committee at Boys and Girls Hostel blocks related to regular round, medical emergency, and other operational requirement.
• Liaison with government authorities and local police for various permissions and lodging FIR on behalf of CEPT University.
• Look after the infrastructure and facilities upkeep as directed by Campus Maintenance Office.

Academic Qualification:

• Experience of minimum 7-9 years in a similar capacity.
• Graduate with NCC certification is beneficial.

Expertise Required:

• Interpersonal skills and ability for coordination with people at all levels.
• Should have dedication and able to handle a multitude of tasks.
• Integrity and discretion towards confidential information of the University.
• Good verbal and written communication skills and fast paced approach towards assigned responsibilities.
• Candidate should be proficient in MS-Office and preference will be given to the candidate having hands on experience with CCTV Surveillance and Security Management - ERP system.
• Participate in team building and team management.
