Workshop Details
Planning education increasingly demands learning methods that go beyond the classroom and engage deeply with real-world contexts. At the Faculty of Planning, CEPT University, studio-based and inquiry-driven pedagogy lies at the core of teaching and learning. This Planning Charrette is designed to showcase this distinctive approach by immersing participants in a hands-on learning experience grounded in a real urban challenge.
Highlights
The workshop will follow a hands-on model, where the participants will engage in a guided exercise situated in the context of Bengaluru. Through collaborative exploration and discussions, participants will experience how CEPT’s pedagogy integrates contextual understanding, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
Who should participate
The workshop is open to undergraduates (3rd year and above) and early career professionals from urban planning, urban design, architecture, civil engineering, geography, sociology, law, economics, public policy, and other relevant disciplines interested in strengthening their ability to respond to contemporary urban challenges.
