Program brief

The Master’s in Structural Engineering Design (MSED) program cultivates advanced technical and analytical expertise in structural engineering. Combining engineering fundamentals with real-world applications, it prepares graduates to design, assess, and innovate across diverse construction sectors, ranging from industrial, infrastructure, and high-rise projects to the conservation and rehabilitation of existing buildings.

The MSED program is a two-year, full-time postgraduate degree designed for engineers and architects seeking to advance their professional skills in structural analysis, design, and detailing. We nurture graduates to become creative problem solvers capable of shaping the built environment with structural clarity and design innovation. Our program brings together advanced engineering principles, critical thinking, and hands-on learning to address the challenges of contemporary structures, from bridges and industrial facilities to resilient and adaptive buildings.

You shall learn to translate conceptual ideas into buildable, efficient, and safe structural systems through immersive studios and close interaction with faculty and practicing professionals. Our program emphasizes understanding materials, behavior of structures, and performance under varied loading and environmental conditions.

You shall engage with real projects, use cutting-edge digital tools, and explore sustainable design solutions. Our program encourages curiosity, precision, and collaboration, preparing industry-ready structural engineers to excel in consulting firms, design offices, research institutions, or as independent professionals leading innovation in structural engineering.
