Medical Lab Test Drive

The Student Services Office (SSO), in collaboration with the Student Councils and the General Student Body of CEPT University initiated a Medical Laboratory Test Drive for students. The Laboratory Tests were conducted by ProActive OHS Services at the SSO, the first phase of which was held on 8th, 9th and 12th April, 2014. About 86 students participated in the Lab Test Drive, and were largely from the Faculty of Architecture and Faculty of Planning.

The tests cover the diagnosis of blood infection, anemia, disorders, liver health, diabetes, thyroid disease, certain genetic disorders, risks for cardiovascular diseases, kidney function, measuring the electrical activity of the heart etc.

The students then consulted the Campus Physician with their test reports for precautionary measures based on their diagnosis so that they can adopt healthier practices.

The analysis would help Student Services Office to spread awareness among students to make necessary lifestyle changes for a healthy life and healthy campus.
