About the Position

CEPT University invites application for the position of Academic Associate for MCR Program, Faculty of Architecture (full time and on contract basis). We are looking for professionals, who possess the excellent academic qualification, experience and analytical skills with an understanding of various academic and administrative processes at the university level. The initial appointment shall be for a six-month period but can be extended further following a review process.

Roles and responsibilities

  • The Academic Associate will work closely with the Program Chair to support academic activities, such as research and teaching.
  • Provide administrative support for the program and its initiatives.
  • Contribute to the organization of academic events and workshops.
  • Assist in developing and delivering teaching materials and curriculum.
  • Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.

Academic qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Architecture with at least 5 years’ experience, or a Master’s in Architecture or allied fields (minimum 2 years duration) with at least 3 years’ experience.

Expertise required

  • Demonstrated interest in hands-on construction activities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Autocad, Adobe and Revit. Working Knowledge of Grasshopper and Rhino.
  • Strong organizational abilities, and a keen attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated passion for academic pursuits and a commitment to excellence.
